Emerson provides day-to-day support for McMillanDoolittle projects across the board, from strategic planning and digital transformation to consumer insights and experience design. He draws on direct experience in the Home and Home Improvement industries as well as in consumer and market research. As a native Spanish-speaker, he devotes a portion of his time to supporting McMillanDoolittle’s LATAM and international clients.
Prior to joining McMillanDoolittle, Emerson held merchandising and client development roles at The Home Depot and The NPD Group. At The NPD Group, Emerson supported multiple Home Appliances and Housewares manufacturers, leveraging NPD’s data assets to deliver insights and growth recommendations. At HD Pro, the B2B division of The Home Depot, Emerson served as a Merchandise Planner in the Appliances and HVAC department, working to optimize product assortment and pricing strategy, and collaborating closely with internal supply chain, S&OP, and marketing partners to maintain a unified sales strategy. Prior to that, his internship experiences focused on consumer research in the CPG and pharmaceutical industries.
Emerson holds a B.A. in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Chicago and has certifications in Delta Bronze Business Insights and the Sandler Selling Methodology.
