Anne’s focus on retail began during her childhood years spent in the family shoe stores. Her entire career has been devoted to retail management and strategic consulting, always with the customer at the center. At McMillanDoolittle, she helps clients design and execute strategic planning, winning customer experiences, and results-driven merchandising and operational improvements that drive significant benefits. She delivers recommendations and action plans that are achievable and scalable, with clear measurements to deliver sustainable benefits – for customers, employees, management and shareholders.
Client projects include strategic assessments, profitable growth plans, right-sizing and new concept development across softlines, home goods, hardlines, automotive and non-traditional retail segments. Whether attacking current challenges or creating new opportunities, our proven approach addresses both immediate benefits and long-range profitability, applying rigorous analysis and performance measures, creativity and innovation to deliver results.
Prior to joining McMillanDoolittle, Anne held senior executive positions with Accenture, Carson Pirie Scott & Co., and Federated Department Stores. Management responsibilities included strategic planning, business performance management, process architecture design, merchandising, product development and store operations.
Industry and community involvement activities include memberships in The National Retail Federation, previously serving on the NRF Associate Member Council (AMC), the boards of FGI International-Chicago and The Fashion Group Foundation, and lifetime membership in Two/Ten Footwear Foundation. Anne also chairs the Board of Trustees for the National MS Society-WI Chapter and the Government Relations Committee. Anne graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Lawrence University.
