Brazilian Chocolatier Brings Brand Storytelling to Digital Channels

Founded in 2017, Dengo is a Brazilian Chocalatier and social impact business that focuses on delivering “pleasure with a purpose” through a commitment to sustainable development and sourcing through small-independent cacao farmers.  Dengo’s stores are experiential centers of brand storytelling that appeal to multiple senses. The company uses unique combinations of local fruits, nuts and flavors in their chocolate creations which change each season with the harvest.

During the COVID-19 lockdowns in the country, the company quickly shifted to reinvent the online experience in a way that reflects the  types of engagement that happened in the physical stores. Live streaming inside a real store where shoppers could interact with an associate in real-time, reinforced the connection between customer and brand in a digital space.

Why We are Inspired.

Dengo is an experiential retail company bringing the Brazilian tradition of chocolate making into the modern age and doing so in a socially conscious way. Their creative live streaming during the pandemic reimagined the relationship between customer and associate in the sweetest way possible given the circumstances.
