A high-performance outdoor gear and apparel brand, Outdoor Research has grown through retail distribution across physical and digital channels. Our team was asked to develop a business plan to determine the revenue potential in direct to consumer ecommerce and outline the requirements to develop foundational digital marketing and direct retail operations. Our work identified opportunities to extend into the Professionals market, targeting qualified instructors and teaching pros through a dedicated ecommerce website and integrated marketing programs.
