Retail Consulting Associate
Ava is an experienced consultant with a lifelong passion for retail. She focuses on bringing actionable strategies and industry-leading innovation to her clients. She has direct experience in many customer-centric areas of retail, including brand strategy, marketing and promotions, digital experience, loyalty programs, and store design. She is a fluent Spanish-speaker and a key member of McMillanDoolittle’s LATAM Practice.
At McMillanDoolittle, Ava has supported projects spanning strategic planning and implementation, omnichannel customer experience design, concept development, consumer research, market entry, and due diligence. Her recent clients include retailers, brands, and investors, such as Good Food Holdings, the Bridgestone Americas (Firestone Complete Auto Care), Grupo Axo (Mexico), Grupo Del Sol Woolworth (Mexico), GNC Mexico, yfood (Germany), and Audax Private Equity.
In addition to her client work, Ava serves as McMillanDoolittle’s liaison in the Ebeltoft Group, a global consortium of retail consultancies, and is a regular thought leader for both Ebeltoft and McMillanDoolittle.
Prior to joining McMillanDoolittle, Ava worked in Kohl’s Category Branding Team, partnering with stakeholders across Marketing, Merchandising, and suppliers to develop effective omnichannel marketing strategies. She holds degrees in Retailing & Consumer Behavior and Spanish with a certificate in Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin. During her university studies, Ava was an elected Student Ambassador for the National Retail Federation.
