Mara Devitt specializes in developing customer focused marketing and merchandising strategies and tactics that drive sales and profits for her clients. Her approach is grounded in a structured method for operating model development to ensure that recommendations made to clients are achievable, repeatable and the benefits can be sustained over time.
Prior to McMillan-Doolittle, Mara spent 20 years at Accenture, working with clients on strategic planning, new channel development, concept development, merchandise optimization, customer insight analysis, technology strategy, organization design and operational improvements. Mara helped define the firm’s consulting approach to Business Architecture and was operations director of The Retail Place ™, Accenture’s center for Retail Industry expertise. In this role, she worked with top industry executives from around the globe on major retail issues and trends. Mara has graduate degrees in Computer Science and Finance.
