Senior Consultant

David Stern specializes in retail brand building. He has wide-ranging experience with premier world-class advertising agencies building brands for category-leading clients. Providing extensive experience and a diverse background in retail branding, David specializes in marketing communication, strategic planning, brand positioning and creative execution.

As a Creative Director, David has created and executed campaigns in diverse categories such as packaged goods, financial, quick service restaurants, fitness, hardware, information technology, video gaming, automotive aftermarket, newspapers, theme parks, toys and jewelry. As a Consultant, he has provided retail brands with the planning and execution required to reach higher levels in the marketplace. David is a leader in results-driven marketing, and has managed the campaigns to increase sales for McDonald’s, Discover Card, Sea World and Busch Gardens, US West, Wendy’s, Arby’s, Ace, Van Kampen, Sun-Times, Kraft, Turtle Wax, Illinois Lottery, Ohio Art, Blick Art Materials and Ultra Diamonds. With more than 25 years experience covering consumer, business-to-business and event marketing, promotion, retail, direct response and merchandising, David has worked at J. Walter Thompson, Foote, Cone & Belding and DDB Needham.

Being a retail consultant with such a diverse background as a Creative Director and Brand Leader across communication mediums, allows David to provide clients with uncommon insights and market-proven expertise. David is known for his passion for retail and says that Brand-Building is what he finds professionally most rewarding.
